Motorway Control Centre-Project Win
Kapitol is proud to be delivering the Motorway Control Centre (MCC) as part of the North East Link – Victoria’s largest road infrastructure project.
Join our Project Manager, Lara Kaehne, and NEXTDC’s Project Director, Paul Tomsic, for a guided tour of the D1 Darwin Data Centre—the first of its kind in the Northern Territory and our inaugural interstate project. This state-of-the-art facility boasts 15 data halls and a rack capacity of 1,500. From our ECI appointment in 2022, we embraced modular construction, streamlining the process by prefabricating off-site and installing on-site, allowing us to deliver within just 10 months. With robust 37-tonne generators providing critical backup in case of power failure, this centre is built for resilience.
