Hollowcore Installation at District Living
See how digital engineering, design coordination and construction planning helped deliver a major hollowcore installation at District Living.

Kapitol were proud to be invited to the official ministerial opening of the newly redeveloped Southern Autistic School in East Bentleigh last week.
We delivered stage 1 of the redevelopment which included a new two-storey specialist learning and administration building. This welcoming environment allows for a creative space for the children to use for media, art, science, and music, along with a refreshed outdoor area.
Delivered for the Victorian School Building Authority (VSBA), the live environment our team worked in required a heightened awareness of the needs of the children to accommodate for their sensitivities. A number of initiatives were introduced such as daily communication check-points as well pausing construction to allow the movement of students arriving and leaving school grounds.
Thank you to the VSBA and the board of the Southern Autistic School for trusting us with this important project.
