Our Directors Andrew Deveson and David Caputo sat down with Mark Bouris AM for The Mentor Podcast to share their lessons learnt of branching out and starting their own construction company.
“When we started we were building small projects. We were grinding it out and we learnt so much doing it,” explains Andrew. “In terms of building your own capacity, doing that and growing into it in my opinion, we’re a way better business today than had someone just walked up to us and said ‘hey Dave/Andrew, here’s $100m, go start Kapitol of year 6 in year 1. We got the cuts and scrapes and bruises and we learnt along the way…and we want to keep that mentality as we move into different sectors.”
