150 Kapitol Staff Give Back: 290 Hours Supporting Melbourne Community
When we say our vision is to build the best buildings, do no harm, and improve the construction industry for a better life, we mean it extends beyond our project sites.
We held our first retreat of 2024 with our cadets and graduates, a two-day immersive experience. The group is able to network with one another, and we conduct professional development workshops to broaden their learning and confidence in the workplace. The days also provide the cohort with opportunities for one-on-one conversations with senior leaders including our directors.
The aim of these retreats is to break down those barriers between sites and introduce our grads/cadets to one another. Jaanbir Kaur shared her thoughts in this video “What I like about the grad retreat, was to be able to connect with all the other grads, find out what they’re doing on their projects and learn from them.”
